CARROT AND THEIR WONDERFUL BENEFITS

Fresh carrot juice, Lenotre cafe, 360 Mall

Do you like carrots? Do you include them in your diet? If it's 'yes', you are doing something wonderful for your mind, body and health! If your answer is 'No', then...read on....you need to know why should you include carrots in your daily food intake. When I had the invigorating carrot juice at Lenotre (in 360 Mall), I thought, I must do a write up for my blog on Carrots, which are a goldmine of natural vitamins and minerals. No other vegetable contains as much beta-carotene as carrots. For maximum results for the liver, carrot juice must be consumed on a regular basis. Mixing carrot juice with other fruit or vegetable juices can substantially boost therapeutic effects. If that seems like a task, just slice up or grate a carrot and have it along with other vegetables as a salad.

1. In our body, beta-carotene is converted into Vitamin A, which assists in improving eyesight, functioning of our immune system, strengthening bones and teeth, preventing possible problems with the functioning of the thyroid gland.

2. Vitamin A also has positive effects on our hair, nails and skin. Besides, it's good cleansing effects: it can clean our liver from fat and other unnecessary elements.

3. Vitamins C, B, E, D and K, proteins, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, aluminum, sodium, manganese, iron, copper and a lot of other minerals are present in Carrots.

4. Carrots contain great amounts of nicotine acid, which is important for metabolism of fats and lipids.

5. Carrot is a great source of natural magnesium, which assists in decreasing bad cholesterol levels in the body, helps to relieve spasms and strengthen our blood vessels.

6. Carrot juice has very good anti-inflammatory, anti-cancerous and anti-aging properties.

7. Drinking raw carrot juice can be helpful for lowering the symptoms of stresses and normalizing the function of your digestive system.

8. Adding some spinach juice to a glass of your carrot juice can help you to refresh your mind, calm down and improve your sleep. Also, this mixture has very good cleansing properties and can relieve the symptoms of constipation. You can also mix carrot juice with beetroot juice or  orange.

9. Drinking carrot juice is extremely beneficial for pregnant women and young children. Vitamins A and E are very important for normal development of the fetus.

10. Carrot juice mixed with some orange juce or a little of lime juice, given to children, will provide them a healthy doze of all useful microelements and nutrients, as well as have a better appetite and lower risks of having a cold or a flu. A glass of fresh carrot juice a day can substantially improve your overall health.

11. Vitamin A is fat soluble, so try to have carrot juice or carrots along with any of your meal that contains a bit of oil or fat, so that the Vitamin A is absorbed into your system. Example scrambled or fried egg with carrot juice or carrot salad or add a bit of olive oil into your carrot salad. You can even add a little milk into carrot juice. For health purposes, try not to add refined sugar in fresh carrot juice, instead add 1 teaspoon honey or a teaspoon of raw sugar.
