WEIGHT LOSS - HUMOUR OR FACTS

You know it is time to resume EXERCISE when..

*You get into the mood to do some push ups and realize  that certain body parts refuse to leave the floor.

* You meet your school friend after 10 or 15 years gap and you are so excited to see him and he goes, 'My God, I didn't recognize you...you put on so much weight!'

*You walk in the Mall or beach for five or seven minutes and you want to sit down somewhere (preferably food court and eat some delicious food)

*You are shopping for bigger sizes as the clothes at home have shrunk.

* You are a party, fill your plate with all the wonderful food and people stare at your plate (and you) while they talk to you and you know the reason why.

* You get bugged by two kinds of friends. One who outrightly tell you...'when are you going to lose some weight.' or the polite one who subtly remind, you 'If you lose weight, you will look beautiful (or handsome)'

* You secretly admire those thin, scrawny models in the Magazines and advertisements and wish you could wear the clothes they did, or somewhere close to that.

*You come to the conclusion that, if God really wanted you to touch your toes each morning, he would have put them somewhere around your knees.

*You analyze your body honestly and decide what you should develop first is your sense of humour.

*You take a look at all the reduced rate summer offers in the gym and decide the timing clash with your favourite T.V. show and think, 'Oh shucks..if the timings didn't clash...'

*You step on a weighing scale and you go dizzy at the number you see and want to treat yourself to a burger.

This is not intended to hurt the sentiments of those trying to lose weight or has a weight issue. As a weight loss aspirant myself, I feel through humour, sometimes we are able to see things in a different perspective. Take up that challenge, get rid of all that excess weight you don't really need and the let the real you - the diva or hunk, hiding inside come out.  It may sound difficult, but not impossible. Once you start losing weight, you will enjoy the journey and the results.
