RAINBOW TOAD REDISCOVERED AFTER 87 YEARS

The exotic Rainbow Toad (or Samba Stream Toad, also known as Borneo Toad) has been rediscovered after 87 years. It was last seen in 1924. It falls in the World Top Ten Most Wanted Lost Frogs list.  Dr. Indraneil Das of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak  and his research team decided to hunt down the lost frog.  Graduate student Pui Yong Min from the team, found the small toad two metres up a tree, in the higher elevations during the search along the 1,329 metre high ridges of the Gunung Penrissen range .
