3D printing involves  creating three dimensional solid objects by laying down successive layers of material over several hours. 3D printers offer product developers, designers and engineers the ability to print parts and assemblies made of several materials with different mechanical and physical properties. Advanced 3D printing creates models that can serve as product prototypes. 3 D printing use in jewelry design, footwear, industrial, architecture, engineering and construction automotive, aerospace, dental and medical industries.

3 D Printing have been a science fiction to people though it has been around since 2003. Not anymore though. Now Personal 3 D printers for home and desk top printers to fit into office space are being manufactured and the costs of these printers are declining to make it more affordable.
