HOLIDAY BAZAR 2011

Holiday Bazar held on Friday November 18, at the Salwa Sabah Al Salem building near Marina Crescent, Salmiah, was quite a success. There were so many vendors, each with their separate tables, that showcased a great variety of articles to choose from - artificial jewellery, crystal and semi precious jewellery, christmas decorations and decorative articles, hand made soaps, organic skin care products, scarves, clothing, bags, footwear, home made goodies, icecreams, dates, cookies, lots of items for Christmas, plants, paintings, perfumes, soft toys and  there were food counters. There was this table at which one could try a hand at 'painting in water'. Did I miss anything?...hope not! The entrance fee was 1 K.D. and there were door prizes being given away whole day long. The halls were filled will lot visitors. It was a good opportunity to buy something special for Christmas and New Year as there were lots of things that one would normally not find in the Malls, or shopping centers in Kuwait. The highlight of the bazaar was Santa, with whom children enjoyed taking their photos with. Most the the vendors have  home based businesses.  I had a great time, it was way better than last year's Holiday Bazaar. Here are some pictures I took.

Visitors had a great time painting in 'water'. See the picture below which gives you an idea, how the painting in water looks like in the end.
