Don't forget...Earth Hour will be observed today, Saturday 31 March, 8.30pm to 9.30pm - local time. Everyone can participate right from your homes, it's easy... turn off all unnecessary lights and electrical appliances / equipment, from 8.30pm to 9.30pm or even a little beyond that and be a part of a global event aiming towards a better planet. If you are wondering what would you do without lights for one hour, try to think of something nice, something interesting you could do. Light candles, play games, spend time talking, sharing stories with your family and friends. You could read a book with a candle light. If it's not dusty, you could go on the terrace with some candles or sit in your balcony with your family and enjoy the night. Discuss with your friends, family, children ideas on consuming less electricity everyday, reducing carbon emissions from burning fossil fuels and importance of alternative sources of energy. Think...and you will come up with some nice ideas. Have a happy Earth Hour !
