CHRIS BYARS JAZZ QUARTET - CONCERT AT KUWAIT NATIONAL MUSEUM THEATER

As a part of the ongoing 19th Qurain Cultural Festival, the National Council for Culture Arts and Letters and U.S. Embassy organized a beautiful jazz concert on Tuesday 22 January, at the National Museum theater. The quartet was led by Chris Byars on saxophone, accompanied by Ari Roland (cello), Zaid Nasser (saxophone) and Keith Balla (drums). These jazz artists are based in New York  and were invited to perform in Kuwait. We had attended their concert last year and it was huge success. We enjoyed their concert yesterday. Every song they played was fabulous and I think they got the audience spell bound. To me,  jazz music from the saxophone has an alluring and captivating effect, so magical, that just has to be experienced. Loved the selection of songs and their amazing rendering. Here are two photos I took at the concert yesterday.
