ART EXHIBITION - THE MIRROR OF NATURE BY IMKA

This is a rather late post. Last week we attended a beautiful exhibition 'The Mirror of Nature' by  gifted German artist IMKA at Adwany Gallery. The exhibition was organized by National Council for Culture Arts and Letters (NACCL).

IMKA is a freelance artist. She lectures in art at Siegburg study centre and teaches art at the Toisdorf comprehensive school in Bonn, Germany. IMKA's art focuses mainly on symbolic representations of emotions in the area of interpersonal relationships and the interact between people and their environment. Her art work involves various media such as collage, watercolor, gouache, acrylics on board, wood, paper and canvas. We enjoyed IMKA's work which are quite amazing, especially the 'Decalcomania' artwork, which are magical, inspiring, intricate with subtle or profound messages.

Although the exhibition is over, the paintings are available for viewing and purchase at the following contact address - Renata Birkholz - tel 65560892 or 65638009. They will also be displayed after two weeks at an art gallery and I shall update the information and let you know of the location.
