ENERGY HEALING - QUANTUM EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL RELEASE BY PAUL EMERY

Last Saturday I attended an energy healing workshop conducted by Paul Emery called 'Quantum Emotional and Physical Release'. It was held at Six Senses Spa, Hotel Missoni.

Energy healing is a holistic approach to wellness in our daily lives. We are an energy system or rather, each of us is an energy machine. It's believed since ancient times and over the years, scientifically proven that energy travels through the body along the channels called meridians. Each organ in our body has energy associated with it and each organ interacts with particular emotions on a mental and emotional level. Physical pain (unless its medical), emotional stress and trauma, addictions are caused by anxiety, which leads to energy blocks in our body. Energy blocks can affect the immune system as well. Paul will conduct an energy test, identify the block, and clear it with simple techniques, like tapping certain pressure points or regulating the energy flow through hand movements and by helping you breathe correctly. During stress, the brain, heart and nervous system become chaotic and the energy is out of balance. Energy healing and simple breathing will get it into synchronization. Besides helping you rid your addictions, physical pain and emotional stress, weight issues, Paul Emergy would teach you to heal yourself and  others as well.

Energy healing is used for eliminating headaches, migranes, fears and phobias.  One interesting thing Paul Emery mentioned was that perfumes, colognes and washing powder are full of chemicals and they can cause energy blocks or prevent healthy flow of energy and so can some of the foods you eat. Pay attention to how you feel after you've eaten something and you end up feeling tired, or ill or if it alters your mood in a negative way. This can help you identify what's good and not good for you. Constant use of electrical and electronic equipment, mobile phones, computers, television disrupts the body's energy system. Energy healing is also used to help someone perform better in business or sports or those to want to work on their positives to improve their life. To know more about Paul Emergy and energy healing he practises visit his website Here

Paul Emery is a gifted healer and he is a wealth of information. He will be available at Six Senses Spa until October 29, if you wish to avail of the amazing healing techniques and rid your fears, phobias, stress, emotional or physical pain, weight issues or plain just want to improve your life. For an energy healing session with Paul Emery, contact Six Senses Spa for charges and other details.

WHEN YOU ARE CONSUMED BY MINOR ISSUES

There are times when we let small issues upset us to a point of blowing them completely out of proportion. And most of those fears and worries we hold on to, never really happen. We allow far too much of our energy to be consumed by worrisome thoughts, when we could invest the same energy in something more important in our lives.

Worrying over trivials or small issues drains our energy and can make us unhappy, dissatisfied with life and even sick. A lot of these small issues get solved on their own through time. We have to learn to accept that time is great healer. Instead of being consumed by less important matters that take up our energy, thoughts and time, we can give importance to things that really do matter, and enrich ourselves with patience and understanding. We can treat minor issues as a passing matter and not fall prey to emotional roller coaster ride thinking of minor issues. Now take a look at the 'The Worry Chart', for some interesting statistics!

ONE WEEK - IMPORTANCE OF COMMITTMENT IN WEIGHT LOSS

Accomplishment of worthwhile and difficult goals does not come by accident. It's the result of a dream, careful planning and putting in the effort necessary everyday to make it come true. When you decide upon something, you have to make a committment to yourself and be true to yourself.

I have been on a low calorie diet since February 25, 2011 and I have been conciously making the right choices when it comes to food and I have managed to lose 7 kg so far and also experience the goodness of healthy eating and improved health. I need to lose another 5 kg. Though I have managed to stick to my diet, I wish I had same dedication towards exercising. I can give a whole lot of excuses which would seem lame for not exercising regularly. But that really won't make sense and it's like road block on my journey of weight loss. No matter how busy you are, you have to find time, and honestly you will find time to do what is important. Can I find the time for that, without procrastination?

I have decided to commit ONE WEEK of my life from today to exercise daily, without excuses. If I manage to do that, I know I can continue to make it an integral part of my daily routine. Those of you trying to lose weight, if you hit upon any road block or issues, put your thinking cap on...what's stopping you? Be true and sincere to your dreams, make weight loss a reality. Make a COMMITTMENT to yourself and follow it through.

ENERGIZE YOURSELF WITH RIGHT FOOD AND RIGHT QUANTITY

What you chose to eat in a day, has direct impact on your energy levels, clarity in thinking and total functioning of the body. When you have a meal laden with fat and sugar, or if you overeat, you are bound to experience sluggishness, a drop in energy levels, clouded mind and desire to take nap or just rest, after the initial ecstacy of relishing all that food in your plate. Your body refuses to be alert and attentive. All of us would like to feel energized, alert and productive after a meal, certainly not sleepy or tired, right?. Now that's comes only from having healthy food that not only satisfies hunger, but also will give you the right nourishment to keep your body functioning at it's best. No matter how good a certain meal tastes, never overeat. Now matter how tempting all that high calorie attractive looking food appears, exercise restraint and you will thank your better judgement. At the end of a meal, leave some space in your stomach, so when you get up, you can breathe and move around comfortably than regret how stuffed you feel.

How you feel after a meal is the result of what you eat.

OKRA DISH MARAQ BAMIA

I got the recipe for 'Maraq Bamia'  from Danderma's website and prepared it for lunch today. The recipe is vegetarian and it is made with okra and potatoes. Since I love carrots, I added half a carrot as well.  It's easy to prepare and doesnot take much time. You can have it with rice or Khobuz (Pita Bread). The aroma is lovely and it tastes just wonderful. For preparing this delicious dish, visit Danderma's blog here . Danderma's blog is full of interesting things that would find you visiting it everyday!

Thankyou Danderma for sharing this wonderful dish through your blog.

TODAY'S INTENT 'TO BRING POSITIVE ENERGY INTO MY COMMUNICATIONS'

Last night I came across this beautiful 'intent' quote that I thought of sharing on my blog. Communication - its such a vital part of our daily life and how we communicate with our family, friends, or colleagues and bosses at work affects our well being. I was toying around with 'Paint' software to give this 'intent' an artistic touch. I know it looks like child's work. LOL! However, the intent is powerful!
