DO WOMEN HAVE TO BE A SIZE ZERO TO LOOK GREAT

This mug is available at Hallmark, Marina Mall, Salmiah
Size Zero...a dream figure that is coveted by many young women.  Is it worth giving up on one's health and well being just to 'appear' a size zero, worse a size double zero....?

Female models are paid to wear glamorous small size clothes for photo shoots and modeling assignments or fashion shows. In the highly competitive world of modeling and movies, a lot of models and actresses purposefully eat very little, almost starve to maintain an ultra trim and skinny physique of  Size Zero (with a waist size of 23) by consuming probably a mere 500 to 700 calories a day. Size Zero makes a person unhealthy, malnourished and underweight. A model or actress decked with the right makeup, under the artistic capabilites of a professional photographer and even using photoshop methods, covers all the flaws, creating a glamourous looking model or actress in Size Zero clothes on magazine covers, television ads and movie screens. And many young women end up trying  to emulate size zero figure or weight as they believe Size Zero or being ultra super thin is what makes women attractive and beautiful. On the contrary, a size zero not only makes a person look too skinny, it's quite unhealthy if you starve and deprive yourself of sufficient food and nourishment.  If you are dieting to lose weight, be in harmony with your body, concentrate on healthy eating and healthy choices to reach an ideal weight based on your height and exercise to burn calories and tone your body.
