The Pacific Barreleye fish of the deep waters of Central California, has a transparent head besides its funky appearance. It's unusual eyes can rotate within a transparent shield that covers the fish's head. It has flat fins that allow this fish to remain almost motionless in the water, quite useful in capturing it's prey.
