UGLY LEMON as the label says or 'UGLI LEMON' as spelt in Jamaica, where the fruit is known to originate, is actually a hybrid variety which is blend of orange, tangerine and grapefruit or pomello. It has a fragrant skin and a juicy interior, which is more sour than an orange but less bitter than a tangerine or grapefruit.
