GHOST PEPPER THE HOTTEST CHILLI PEPPER IN THE WORLD

In 2007, Ghost Chili or Ghost peppers was confirmed by Guinness World Records to be the hottest chili in the world! . Its also grown in regions of Assam, Nagaland and Manipur in India. Besides they are also grown in Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

If you ever happen to be adventurous enough or curious enough to try out these peppers, here are some do's and don'ts to bear in mind for your own 'safety'. Well, actually if you like hot spicy stuff, you don't have to be afraid of trying them out....

 * Try tiny amounts at first

* Its best to  use gloves when handling them

* Keep ready beside you, something to eat or drink to cut the heat ( ice cream or milk)

* And one of the most important things after touching the peppers....Do nut rub your eyes or pick your nose.

* Do not inhale the chili powder, it will get you into bouts of cough, difficulty breathing and cause a lot of irritation.

It contains 1,000,000 Scoville heat units the scientific measurement of a chili's spiciness based on the high levels of capsaicin that determines its heaty flavour.  Classic Tabasco sauce ranges from 2,500 to 5,000 Scoville units, while jalapeno peppers measure anywhere from 2,500 to 8,000. See the difference!

They come as whole peppers, candy form, sauce, powder and nuts coated with ghost pepper powder! What's your pick?
