ARABIAN CULTURAL FESTIVAL AND EXHIBITION AT AWARE

We visited the Arabian Cultural Festival and exhibition at AWARE in Surra, yesterday. The exhibition was quite nice, which had 30 vendors who displayed a variety of items such as wooden camels, photography, paintings, carpets, bisht (a special arabian cloak worn by men), soveniers, decorative items, exquisite artificial jewellery and there was sampling of Arabian food. There was quite a response from the public. I will blog about some of the vendors and their businesses in my upcoming posts. AWARE also shared with those interested, about their various activities such as guided tours of buildings in Kuwait with importance to architectural, cultural or heritage  of Kuwait, seminars and classes that were being held. The exhibition was held for one day. Here are some pictures from the exhibition.
