Dean & Deluca at Avenues Mall had beautiful roses and flower arrangements for Valentine's day and lots of strawberries. The Egyptian strawberries were being sold for 500 fils per pack. They were bright red, juicy, sweet and delicous. Usually the strawberries we get here are bit on the sour side. So the sweet tasting Egyptian strawberries was quite a treat! I thought these strawberries made a perfect healthy Valentine's day gift compared to the chocolates laden with countless calories! They also had dates packed in lovely heart shaped gift boxes.
