WHAT A CHINESE FARMER FOUND IN HIS TEA FARM

Two and half weeks ago, a tea farmer,Tian Shogui, of Sichuan Province, China, heard strange cries on top of a hill on his tea farm. Curious, he went up the hill to check and imagine what he found to his surprise…Two baby bear cubs, who looked weak and starving. He took them home and started to feed them and take care of sweet baby bears, since he couldn’t find their mother. Tian fed them milk, rice powder and egg yolks. The twin cubs are expected to be 3 months old, the boy cub weighing 3.2 kg and the girl cub weighing 3.1 kg. Tian Shogui told China Central TV (CCTV), ‘When they wake up, they come to me and play with my bottom of trousers. After they are fed, they play for a bit longer, then go to sleep."

A local wildlife protection organisation is planning to support Tian Shogui to raise the bear cubs, and help release the bears back into the wild when they are older and ready to fend for themselves.
