Saturday was the last day of the 3 day event ' For the Love of Chocolate' at 360 Mall, with live jazz music by Hassan Karam. This was something I didn't want to miss. We were there around 8 pm. Beautiful live jazz music was being played at the atrium. I didn't feel like leaving after listening for an hour! Close to the stage, Hotel Missoni had exhibited amazing chocolate sculptures in glass cases. Visitors were given gahwa - arabic coffee, chocolates and Turkish delights for sampling. Their chocolates are delicious. Not just that, there was live fruit carving by a talented chef from Missoni. We enjoyed watching him carve the melon so meticulously. He used about 4 or 5 different kinds of knives for carving. Two of which I haven't come across before. My husband said, 'I can do that', and I asked him, really? He said, 'yes'. My husband is very artistic with his hands. I didn't see the chocolate fountain. I don't know if I missed it. It was a great evening of music, chocolates and live fruit carving. Enjoy the photos!
