KITE FLYING AND SHAKSHOOKA MARKET

Another late post! On a beautiful winter afternoon of 16 January, we drove to Bnaider, exit 258, where Shakhshooka market was being held under the kites. Shakhshooka market is held every Thursday at a different venue. The vendors had parked their cars in the open ground selling personal care items, ready to eat food, jarred items, pickles, sauces, baked items, tea, coffee and juices. Close to the shakshooka market, were huge kites in the shape of alligator, dragon, teddy bears, whale, dolphin, lobster, horse and regular kites attached to strings fastened to the ground. They were all pretty colorful, a visual treat.
