TWO BEAUTIFUL WEEKS IN UK , PART 1 - VISITING LONDON

Yes, I am back and it's as if time has stood still for me. We  visited our daughter in UK in April. She always makes our stay very special. We had a great time. I end up in some sort of daze every time I return from any trip. It takes a while to get back to the grind which is the reason for my delay in blogging.  I don't know if it's the same with everyone.

UK, is one of the best travel destinations in the world. If you love travelling and exploring and haven't been to the UK, make it your must visit destination. If you've only been to London, it's about time you explore other amazing places in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

During our two weeks in UK, we spent about a week and half with our daughter, she was able to take a week's holiday and join us on a road trip.  Our first visit was to Snowdonia, a breathtakingly picturesque place in Wales. After spending a day in Snowdonia we left for Liverpool, where we spent another day there, took the ferry, Stena Line to Belfast in Northern Ireland. After that, we returned to Birmingham and left for London. We spend two wonderful days in London.  I would never tire of visiting London, which is one of my favourite places. Rains are unpredictable. It could be a bright sunny morning and suddenly during late morning or afternoon, it could start drizzling or even rain heavily. It's worth checking the daily weather forecast online, to help plan your day better. As long as it does not rain heavily, and you are equipped with an umbrella, the weather shouldn't dampen the spirit of exploring the beautiful city. Anyway, that was not all.  From London, we went on a Europe tour for 15 days and we  had the most amazing time of my life.

If you are first time visitor to London, its best to research online well in advance to plan which places you would like to visit. A nice way to get the best of London would be to take the Big Bus tour for 2 or 3 days and you are sure to see all the important landmarks and places in London or resort to the trains and the subway. Susan, that's so true. To me it's like home away from home. The old architecture and scenic beauty is so captivating.
