Who doesn't love Cheetos. The only problem is they make your fingers orange. Just taken for fun, titled 'Shake my Hand'.
BIRMINGHAM CITY IN OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN
We were briefly passing by the city of Birmingham (not Birmingham in UK). The Birmingham I am talking about is a beautiful city in Oakland county in Michigan, U.S.A. It's a must visit place if you are visiting Michigan. Birmingham's downtown area has a variety of upscale shopping choices, coffee houses, restaurants, art shops, ice cream parlors and home furnishing shops. Although we were not able to cover the whole of Birmingham downtown, I hope to do it during my next visit.
Another interesting place to visit is The Birmingham Historical Museum & Park which features the 1822 John West Hunter House, the 1928 Allen House and the beautiful John West Hunter Historic Park. The Museum is a must-see for out-of-town visitors which is a short walk from down town Birmingham.
Birmingham has over twenty parks that offer facilities such as tennis courts, baseball diamonds, playgrounds, golf courses, sledding hills, nature trails, picnic areas and deep woods. Don't miss paying a visit to Shain Park which is an important landmark and gathering place for people. It's located in Marshall street in downtown Birmingham. Shain Park is the site of the Village Fair, art shows, music concerts and lots of community events. The Freedom of the Human Spirit is an elegant sculpture by Marshall Fredericks that adorns the park.
Do visit these links before visiting Birmingham, so you can plan and decide places and events to visit.

While at Birmingham, we were so busy, which left me no time to take as many photos as I would have liked to. Here are some photos I managed to take.

RAINFOREST CAFE AT GREAT LAKES CROSSING OUTLETS MALL IN MICHIGAN
Our son had taken us to the Great Lakes Crossing outlets mall located at 4000 Baldwin Road, in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It has 180 stores and restaurants. We visited the Rainforest Cafe at the mall, which is an interesting place to shop and dine. The decor and ambiance is amazing. The shop and cafe makes you feel as if you are standing in a tropical rain forest region with waterfalls, lush vegetation, trees, and exotic creatures all around. There is a nice aquarium too with beautiful fishes. I was surprised by a loud roaring sound and right behind me was a size huge green alligator that looked so real and it was raising it's body and opening it's mouth wide and moving it's tail. Both children and adults would truly enjoy this place. A lovely place to spend time with your family. Here are some photos of the Rainforest Cafe.
TOP TEN BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS
1.Skipping Breakfast or No Breakfast at all : The blood sugar level becomes low and leads to insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain, which can cause brain degeneration.
2.Overeating: Hardens the brain arteries and decreases mental power
3.Smoking: cause of multiple brain shrinkage and alzheimers
4.High sugar consumption: interrupts the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and interferes with brain development. Eat sugary foods in moderation. Teach children to eat healthy and be less dependant on sugary foods.
5. Exposure in air pollution: Brain is the largest absorber of oxygen in the body. When you inhale polluted air, it decreases oxygen to the brain and reduces brain efficiency.

AT LAKE ORION IN MICHIGAN
During our vacation, we stayed with our son in Lake Orion which is in Oakland county in Michigan. It's a beautiful, serene, picturesque place with lakes all around, surrounded by greenery, and beautiful trees and flowers. Like I said in my earlier post, there are a variety of birds and squirrels which is a beautiful sight. A lot of people who love for water sports are seeing boating, kayaking, jet skiing in the lakes. Lake Orion contains important historic residential and commercial architecture, shopping, restaurants, art and is designated a National Register Historic District as of 2006.
Some pictures taken at two different lakes at Lake Orion.
