Does your stomach look or feel bloated? One in every four woman suffer from stomach bloating due to intestinal yeast infection during summer. Take a banana, chop it up or slice it, add it to a cup of yoghurt and have it or you can treat yourself to a yoghurt-banana smoothie minus the sugar and anything else. Besides being a great health food, yoghurt's cultures and the antifungal properties of banana prevent yeast overgrowth and the stomach returns to normal. Avoid junk food and oily foods, white breads, products with yeast and too much sugar. If bloating persists, do see a gastroentrologist.
Yoghurt and banana won't ease stomach bloating during menstruation, for which one should definitely consult an OB-GYN.
