Yesterday we went for a rather late lunch at TAAL Restaurant in Ras Salmiyah. The restaurant is decorated beautifully for Halloween with bats and pumpkins on the windows and lots more spooky stuff all around. There were little black bats hanging from the ceiling as well. And where we sat, there was this 'hand' sticking out from behind the top part of the seating! The lady attendant to our table was dressed up for Halloween. Taal has some special Halloween drinks to choose from. We stayed on after sunset, to enjoy the effect of the dimmed lights with pleasant music that played with a spooky touch. Don't mind the occasional shrieks during the music. Songs for Halloween were also played. Taal is a beautiful restaurant and the food was fabulous. They serve classic Indian cuisine with global culinary impressions. TAAL has been celebrating Halloween from October 27 and will continue until tomorrow October 31. They have a special discount of 10% if you visit them on 31st October in a halloween costume or your children are dressed in halloween costume. They are open for lunch and dinner.
Taal also serves Indian, Arab and continental breakfast on all days from 7am to 11am (except Sundays)
Thanks to LWDLIK (www.ladieswhodolunchinkuwait.com), I came to know of Halloween at Taal and had a great time!
