GREAT BRITISH AUTOMOTIVE SHOWCASE AT SIRBB CIRCUIT

As a part of the Great British Week, British cars' parade and automotive showcase was held yesterday. The Vintage cars parade was held at 4pm from the Kuwait Towers to the Shuwaikh beach and the cars reached the Sirbb Circuit at 5 pm. We didn't go for the cars parade at the Kuwait Towers. We  left straight for the Sirbb Circuit for the automotive showcase and reached there around 4.30 pm. Guests were welcome to visit the Vintage Museum right beside the Sirbb Circuit and head for the VIP area in the main buildings for refreshments. We had been to the Vintage Cars Museum before, so we went to the main building where the latest models of British cars were displayed and refreshments were being served. Then we went to the viewing terrace on the 1st floor. Very soon  the Vintage Cars arrived at around 5 pm  and performed show laps which was really nice to watch. Once the vintage cars were parked, guests were allowed to walk to the cars and view them at close quarters.

H.E. the British Ambassador officially opened the event and gave a speech in the presence of guests and media at the conference room on the 1st floor of the main buidling. After speeches by several important people, we went to the viewing terrace to see show laps. It started off by Zayani hero cars that included Jaguar XK, Jaguar F-Type, Bentley Flying Spur, and Bentley GT. This was followed by Ali Alghanim & Sons hero cars show laps performance by McLaren 12C, Rolls Royce Ghost, Ranger Rover Sport and Mini Cooper Paceman. The final performance was a 'James Bond Show' with stunts. It was a beautiful event and happy we could attend.

Here are some photos I took at the event.
