The Musée de l’Elysée and the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs present an important exhibition of photographs from the Jean Mohr Collection held by the museum. A committed defender of human rights, Jean Mohr, born in 1925 is one of the best representatives of humanist photography. This exhibition is held to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the ICRC and of the First Geneva Convention. Swiss photographer Jean Mohr's images are known not only for their graphic qualities but also for their great sensitivity, respecting the victims’ dignity.

Vintage British cars as well as the latest models will be on display at the Classic Car Rally and Automotive Showcase during GREAT British Week in Kuwait

Britain has long been known as the home of automotive excellence and innovation in design and engineering. To celebrate that fact, the British Embassy, in conjunction with the SIRBB Circuit is putting on an action-packed event to celebrate the GREAT British Car. The event starts with a rally of vintage British cars along Kuwait’s famous Gulf Road, leading to the brand new SIRBB circuit in Shuwaikh, next to the Classic Car Museum. At the circuit crowds will be thrilled by demonstrations of the latest models from British brands, with some surprises in store, not least a death-defying ‘flying lap’ from a leading British stunt driver. This event is in partnership with Al Zayani and Ali Al Ghanim Automotive.

Bringing Books to Life by One World Actors Centre CIC

As a part of the ongoing 'Great British Week' in Kuwait, One World Actors Centre CIC in partnership with British Embassy and in association with Bayt Lothan Cultural Centre present a celebration of the work of British authors, with performance, story-telling and family-orientated activities. Children's competitions will include the Best Book Character Costume.

Spring Fair at The English School (TES) will be held at its premises on Friday, March 28th from 2 to 5 pm. Enjoy an afternoon of shopping and fun activities. There will be an amazing choice of stalls selling beautiful handicrafts and knick knacks! Fabulous raffle prizes! Bouncy castles, live DJ, face painting, candy floss, balloon twisters, pony rides and so much more to enjoy; a fun day out for the entire family! Area 12, Musaed Al Azmi Street, Salmiya. I had read earlier that the Spring Fair will also feature the Great British Hat Parade during this fun day out. I was unable to call and confirm this. But if a Hat Parade would be held, it would be something fabulous.
