This year's Times Square Valentine heart sculpture is "City Pulse" by BIG Design, which functions utilizing the flow of people, air and movement to bring its heart to life.
Danish architecture firm BIG (Bjarke Ingles Group) set up a giant red heart installation 'City Pulse', in Times Square, New York City. The 10 foot high Valentine heart sculpture glows brighter and beat faster when couples touch the heart and hold hands or kiss. The heart is illuminated by 400 transparent LED acrylic tubes which refracts Times Square’s neon lights.
