The GSMA Mobile World Congress 2012, world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry was held in Barcelona, Spain from February 27 to March 1 that included prominent Chief Executives representing mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, vendors and content owners from all over the world. It's also referred to as 3GSM or 3GSM World. The 2012 theme was 'Redefining Mobile'.
Google, Nokia, Samsung, HTC made quite an impression at the exhibition. Google had a giant Android booth at the Mobile World Congress, that was a star attraction with latest in technology, besides treating the visitors to android robot entertainment, food and smoothies.
Awards were given out in various categories and here I'll enlist a few of them. I've given a link you can visit to see the rest of the winners.

Seems iPhone doesn't come in the picture ??? unbelievable ...isn't the report is quite vague ????
Last year, iPhone 4 won best mobile device award at mwc 2011 awards. This time, apple iPad 2 won for best tablet in mwc 2012 awards. Apple wasn't left out!
