On Monday, I visited Karim Ghidinelli's art exhibtion at Dar AlFunoon. His art using oil painting on aluminium and hand carving is a very impressive. What was striking about his abstract art, was the prominent finger imprint and thumb imprints in his paintings. The color combinations chosen for the paintings were amazing, some subtle, some were vibrant and some quite bold. There were elaborate inscriptions on the paintings. When you visit the exhibition, spent some time observing the paintings and try to decipher the writing. Karim Ghidinelli was born in Italy. He has exhibited his work in USA, France, UK, Canada, Italy, Ireland and Kuwait.
The work on aluminium has a special attraction and Karim Ghidinelli's work is fabulous. The exhibition commenced on April 4 and will continue until Thursday 19 April at Dar AlFunoon, (House No. 28), Behbehani compound, Kuwait City.
