JAPANESE OKINAWA FOLK DANCE AND MUSIC SHOW, AN EVENT PAR EXCELLENCE

What an amazing and scintillating performance by the musicians and dancers of the Japanese Okinawa Song and Dance theatre Chura! The Japanese Okinawa folk dance and music show as mentioned in my earlier post was held over two days on Friday 7th May and Saturday 8th May at the Dasma Theatre. The programme was organized by the Japanese Embassy and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters.  I am personally so glad that my husband and I attended the event and a big ‘Thankyou’ to the Japanese Embassy for organizing this beautiful event on the occasion of Kuwait-Japan Friendship month.   I am sure everyone who attended the show,  would have been spell bound by the rich Okinawa cultural traditions portrayed through dance, music and theatre. Congratulations to every member of 'Chura' for your dedicated efforts and excellent performance.

These are just some of the pictures of the beautiful event.
